Most of us can name our five senses, and what they allow us to do, but did you know that animals have some senses that humans don’t? We’ll discuss behavioral and structural adaptations and play a game to demonstrate how adaptations help plants and animals survive better in their habitats. We’ll then split into groups in which students will be challenged to imagine and create a representation of animals that live in different habitats, including adaptations for eating, moving, and protection, with structures for senses.
