Looking for new playmates for your toddler? How about a safe place to meet for play dates in a fun, learning environment? Introducing Preschool Power Pals at The Discovery Museum. Every Tuesday, beginning Tuesday, February 7, 10 a.m. – Noon , parents and caretakers are welcome to meet and have their children explore with others.

The local 2012 Rube Goldberg High School Team Competition is getting closer. Enter a team of budding engineers and inventors from your high school to compete for a spot at the National Rube Goldberg Competition. It's easy to enter AND The Discovery Museum will GIVE $100 towards the entry fee to the first twelve teams to sign up.

Visiting Exhibits
Three times a year our main level galleries showcase traveling exhibits from around the world. Explore the depths of outer space or the inner workings of the human body, learn the secrets of movie magic or get a back stage pass to the music industry. Each new exhibit provides you with a unique opportunity to “discover the wonder” in our world.
A favorite destination for school and scouting field trips, The Discovery Museum and Planetarium offers learning labs with more than sixty-four science topics and seventeen demos - all aligned to national and state science standards.
