Schedule will depend on weekly museum program schedule

The Discovery Museum currently has openings for per diem instructors to teach a variety of classes during regular school hours. We are seeking friendly, energetic individuals capable of working with children ages 4 to 13 (not all at once!). We specialize in hands-on physical science programs (check out our school catalog for a complete listing of the programs we offer) so an instructor may be flying to the Moon in our Challenger Learning Center one day and making slime the next. The ideal instructor will have experience working with children, a strong grasp of middle-school level physical science (you don't have to be a rocket scientist, but it wouldn't hurt!) and the desire to share the excitement of learning with students from around the state. Promising applicants will be extensivly trained in our unique programs prior to any solo "flights".
