Treat your students to a series
of hands-on experiences specially selected to foster mastery
of concepts. Each program consists of one extended visit to
the Discovery Museum. Programs begin at 9:30, and will include
a variety of activities. As always, our programs support the CT
Science Standards.
DISCOVERY SCIENCE ACADEMY FEES
Science Academies are individually priced (see listings
below) for up to 20 students, With an additional fee per student
up to a maximum of 30.

to your Science Academy for $3/student.

Leonardo
Lab • grades 4-8 •
Students get elbow-deep in this team-oriented array of design
challenges, experimenting with various materials and constraints.
CAUTION: exposure to math and physics inevitable.
$470 minimum fee for up to 20 students, add $20/student up to
a maximum of 30.
Sleuth
School • grades 5-8 •
Your students will graduate from sleuth school as budding forensic
scientists, be trained in the art of crime scene science, and
practice their skills solving a mysterious caper.
$560 minimum fee for up to 20 students, add $24/student up to
a maximum of 30.

Clean and Green • grades 5-9•
Unravel the mystery of global warming, and then build devices
to produce clean sources of power.
$430 minimum fee for up to 20 students, add $19/student up to
a maximum of 30.
Space
Science Academy • grades 5-8 •
Your students will work as a team and fly a Mission to the Moon
in our Challenger learning Center and learn about the mysteries
of space in our Space Science Demonstration.
$700 minimum fee for up to 20 students, add $25/student up to
a maximum of 30.
Wing
It • grades 4-8 •
Do your students have what it takes to get airborne? They
will build and fly an array of flying machines – find
out if they have the Wright stuff.
$430 minimum fee for up to 20 students, add $19/student up
to a maximum of 30.
Sub
School • Grades 5-8 • $850
Eureka! Learn about buoyancy, density, and underwater exploration
in this deep sea adventure, then climb into a real research submersible.
$700 minimum fee for up to 20 students, add $25/student up to a maximum
of 30.
