The Museum staff is ready to provide you and your students with the very best educational enrichment programs available. Plan now so that your group may join the thousands of students participating in Museum programs this year.

Groups may participate in a single program or may combine programs to create an extended learning experience. Wonderscience and Hands-on Universe planetarium packages offer several activities within a single program. Our new Discovery School of Science Wizardry offers a format designed for mastery of concepts, and are attractively priced.

Many group leaders design a Custom Day by selecting from the wide variety of science offerings available. Not sure what you want? Don’t worry. Museum schedulers are available to help you create a top quality experience for your students. Please have the following information ready when you call:

Date of your visit: Our schedule fills up quickly, so please list alternative dates.
The title of the program(s) your class will participate in.
Address and phone numbers of the school and teacher, and email if applicable.
Group size: students/chaperones (one chaperone per 10 students required).
Grade Level(s) and number of students per grade level
Contact: The person who will lead the class visit to the Museum. A home telephone number will be requested.
Special Needs for the class or individual students.

Call early to reserve your schedule of activities. If you wish to include a visit to the galleries, order goodie bags from the Museum Store or use the dining facilities, please inform the scheduler.

DESIGN YOUR OWN DAY
Design your own day around a theme or topic from your curriculum. Museum schedulers will be glad to assist you. Scheduling can be reached by calling extension 121.

We feature science fair supplies, small science kits, and inexpensive toys and gifts ($2.00 and under). Let us know if you are looking for anything in particular. We may be able locate just what you need, or perhaps even suggest something that will work better!! Teachers receive a 10% discount, good during class visit.
