AWESOME ANIMATION • July 6 - 10
Everyone loves an animated film. Now you can create your own show! We’ll
start with the basics of traditional drawn animation, then use cameras and computers
to make Lego or clay characters come to life! You’ll make a short film
on DVD that you can take home!
Fee: $275

OCEAN EXPLORER • July 13 - 17
Spend a week underwater! Well, not exactly, but you’ll be totally immersed
in our ocean exploration adventure. We’ll look at methods of ocean exploration
from the surface to the deepest abyss, with stops along the way to see what lives
there. You’ll make and test simple oceanographic equipment and set up a
real aquarium to take home. Study critters on a beach field trip and check out
a real research submersible!

ROBOTICS • July 20 - 24
Have you ever wanted to make your own robot? If so, this is the program for you!
Learn about robotics and computer programming. You’ll even build your
own robotic arm to take home!

DISCOVERY CSI • July 27 - 31
Take a chance and let your inner detective out! This
is the perfect program for those who like to solve
puzzles and have an attention for detail. Learn about
forensics, and how forensic scientists
solve mysteries. We’ll even go on our own treasure
hunt, and maybe even solve a crime!

You’d really get in trouble at home for trying
the kind of stuff we’re going to do, but not
here! Get ready for a week of the coolest, hottest,
most explosive activities you can imagine. Mad Scientists
and Evil Super Geniuses are welcome! Don’t worry,
you’ll be safe, but remember... DON’T TRY

SPACE EXPLORER • August 10-14
Have a blast this summer! Build model rockets, design
a space suit for an egg, conduct hands-on experiments,
assemble a mini-robot, attend a space science demonstration
and planetarium show - plus more as part of the
training for a simulated mission to the Moon in
the Challenger Learning Center.
